Lawrence Lavender, Owner/CEO
He/Him
Celebrating over 30 years of managing events, drag queens, musicians, athletes, and other types of performers, Lawrence’s passion for the arts began very early on in his life managing his first band at 16 years old. He’s learned a lot since those days and his passion for the arts and years of experience in law and business make this a perfect fit.
A university graduate with a bachelor of arts in philosophy and minors in ethics, law, and society, Lawrence also holds a master’s degree in community development and two Juris Doctors, one from the United States and the other from Canada. Lawrence also teaches business law and business ethics part-time at his local college.
I did not start as a business looking for an opportunity, I started this business as a friend and fan that saw a need. My objective has always been to provide business expertise to performing artists so they could focus on being great artists. I founded Lavender Promotions in 2016 to be Canada’s first queer-focused talent & event agency.
"Pixely" Jinx Bailey, Assistant/Tech Gremlin
She/They
A digital citizen since childhood, Jinx began her online adventures on Neopets, learning HTML and CSS to make the prettiest profile pages and guild layouts you’d ever see. (At least that’s what 11-year-old Jinx would say.) She carried those skills to GaiaOnline, making her web designs even neater than before.
Wandering through life, Jinx graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Drama & Communication, Media & Film from the University of Windsor in 2014. She began VTubing in September 2020, and is currently on an extended hiatus.
After discovering a love of organising digital life, she began at Lavender Promotions in 2023. Jinx does many things. Most of them are mysteries.
